Personal and Consumer Finance – Minor

The Personal and Consumer Finance minor at Montana State explores the lifespan and ecological factors shaping personal and family financial decision-making. Through coursework focused on financial knowledge and capability, students learn to foster financial well-being in both formal and informal settings. Completing this minor qualifies students for the Accredited Financial Counselor (AFC) certification through the Association for Financial Counseling & Planning Education.
