What is Canvas Portfolios?

Canvas Portfolios is a tool that allows you to collect, organize, and showcase your work in one place. You can use it to highlight important assignments, reflect on what you’ve learned, and track your progress over time.

Portfolios are often used in courses to show your learning, but they can also be useful beyond the classroom to share your work with others.

Why Use a Portfolio?

  • Keep your work organized in one place
  • Show your progress and growth over time
  • Reflect on what you’ve learned
  • Highlight your best work
  • Build a collection of work for future opportunities

How You Might Use It

  • Save important assignments or projects
  • Add reflections about your learning
  • Show progress toward skills or goals
  • Create a final portfolio for a course or program
  • Build a showcase of work you are proud of
