Department of Education Monday Minutes

Here are your Monday Minutes for the week of August 10-14, 2020.

From the Department Head

Dear Students, Faculty, and Staff,

I wish you all a warm welcome to the 2020-2021 academic year! My number one priority is your health and safety. Champ was busy welcoming students into the dorms, so this raccoon is here to welcome you back and remind you to wash your hands, wear your mask, social distance, and remember all campus hygiene protocols! When you come into Reid Hall, you will see clear signage with requirements. Have a wonderful pre-week!

Welcome Back to School - Grinning Raccoon

Take good care,

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Resources

  • Are you an ally? According to “Anatomy of an Ally” by Carrie Gaffney, “Ensuring all students feel respected and protected at school requires educators to become allies… partners in empowerment who speak out against injustice and support marginalized groups and individuals on their own terms.” This toolkit will assist you in your own journey to allyship.
