Mission:

The Pre-Nursing Club is dedicated to fostering a supportive community for aspiring Bobcat Nurses. Our mission is to provide members with campus resources, create friendships with fellow pre-nursing students, and help students prepare for Nursing School.

Pre-Nursing Club Bylaws

Montana State University

Article I: Name

The name of this organization shall be the Pre-Nursing Club at Montana State University.

Article II: Purpose

The purpose of the Pre-Nursing Club is to support students aspiring to enter nursing school by providing essential resources, guidance, and a supportive community. The club aims to:

  1. Connect members with campus resources, such as Smarty Cats tutoring, study groups, and nursing program information.
  2. Facilitate local volunteering opportunities within the community and healthcare settings.
  3. Assist students in navigating the nursing school admissions process.
  4. Social events, workshops, and peer support foster a sense of community.

Article III: Membership 

Section 1: Eligibillity

Membership is open to all Montana State University students interested in pursuing a career in nursing. The club is also open to other majors, but is recommended for Pre-Nursing Students.

Section 2: Active Membership

To be considered an active member, individuals must:

  1. Attend at least two meetings or events per semester.
  2. Be a student at Montana State University.

Section 3: Voting Rights

Only active members are eligible to vote on club matters.

Article IV: Officers

Section 1: Positions

The officers of the Pre-Nursing Club shall consist of:

  1. President
  2. Vice President
  3. Secretary
  4. Treasurer

Section 2: Election of Officers

  • Officers shall be elected annually each semester by a majority vote of active members or by Anna and Melissa's choice.

Section 3: Removal of Officers

  • Any officer may be removed from their position if they are not fulfilling their role.

Article V: Meetings

Section 1: Frequency

  • The club shall hold regular meetings once every two weeks during the academic year.
