Why Choose MSU?

Your Nursing Adventure Begins Here

Montana is home to some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. You can finish you classes in the morning and find yourself in Glacier or Yellowstone National Park by the afternoon.

Quality Clinical Experiences

Our curriculum offers 990 hours of clinical, simulation, and lab experiences over three semesters to ensure our students get the hands-on experiences they need.

New State of the Art Learning Facilities

This year we broke ground for new learning facilities on each of our five campuses. These new buildings are currently under construction and when completed will allow us to accept more nursing students.

"As a nursing student at MSU, I've had the opportunity to work everywhere from houseless shelters to facilities for people with disabilities. It exposes you to a lot of different opportunities to find out what your meaning and purpose is and what your goals are."

— Joshua, Cascade, MT. Class of 2024

More Details about:

In 2021 Mark and Robyn Jones made a $101 million philanthropic investment to MSU’s nursing college, which now bears thier name. This gift has allowed us to begin construction on new building on each of our five campus locations. Each building will be two stories and house multiple classrooms and simulation laboratories, as well as break and study areas for students. The buildings will also allow for us to accommodate for more students in coming years.
