Male student holding a video camera on the football field.

Conner Firstman, son of Curtis and Mary Anne Firstman, loved his Bobcat family. He was a film student from 2010-2014, and created many MSU sports videos, most notably for football. The players considered him part of the team, and he even received three Big Sky Conference Championship rings, of which he was very proud. Conner was Korean and looked a lot like the singer, Psy, who recorded the hit single Gangnam Style. It was after two lung surgeries to remove cancerous tumors that Conner surprised everyone by learning the Gangnam Style dance, performing first at a volleyball game, and then at two Bobcat football games along with the MSU dance team. It was epic, for sure! If you Google Conner Firstman, Gangnam Style, you can see it on YouTube. There is a scholarship in Conner's memory given annually to a film student with a passion for videography and Bobcat Athletics: The Conner Firstman 'Film Like a Champion' Scholarship. Conner, along with his family, was incredibly grateful to MSU and the Bozeman community for all the love, support, and kindness shown.
