Dylan grew up in Minnesota and as a family we took many trips to the Rocky Mountains every year. Whether it was skiing or backpacking, our trips usually took us out west. It was not a surprise when Dylan chose Montana State University as his college choice. After his freshman year, Dylan came home over the summer. He had joined Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity and had made many friends. On countless occasions he would discuss his love for Montana. He would talk about the fun times up at Bridger Bowl, fishing in the nearby rivers, various hikes throughout the week and weekends, and just simply the family that he had found at MSU. On one particular occasion Dylan said, "I really love Montana, I don't really want to leave it". He found himself, the love from friends, and the life that filled him in Montana. Dylan, we will always love you and keep you close in our hearts the rest of our lives. We will forever cherish the 20 years of life we spent together. It has been our great honor and privilege to be your parents and brothers.
