Student Health Services Staff

Dr. Kristi Jackson is a family medicine physician who enjoys caring for injuries, performing procedures, and supporting students in staying active and healthy. She completed her residency in Salt Lake City and has a special interest in urgent care and sports medicine. She loves working in student health because every day brings something new and offers the chance to support students through both routine and unexpected moments. Fun fact: she was a collegiate cyclist at a small college with fewer than 700 students!

I’m a proud MSU Bobcat, having earned my undergraduate degree here at Montana State University, and I’m thrilled to be back serving the college student community. I’ve spent the past 13 years working in family practice as a Physician Assistant, including a couple of years in ENT. My journey with MSU Student Health began by filling in part-time — and I quickly realized how much I enjoyed working with students, which led to a full-time role I truly love.

I have a special interest in women’s health, STI education, and preventative care. I provide services including IUD and Nexplanon placement, and I’m passionate about making healthcare approachable and informative. I’m proud to be part of an amazing team here at MSU, and I look forward to working with you and supporting your healthcare needs.

Joined MSU SHS in 2015 after practicing rural primary care in Dillon, MT.  

Dr. Goodell shares her time seeing patients & teaching medical students for the University of Washington School of Medicine / Montana WWAMI.  

She enjoys women's health, infectious disease & reproductive health. 

She is committed to excellence in public medical education and training rural physicians.

Jessica joined MSU Dental Clinic in 2025 after working in dentistry for nearly 20 years. She started her career as a dental assistant, followed by working as a Registered Dental Hygienist in private practice since 2011.  

“I love getting to know my patients and strive to support them where they are in their health journey by providing compassionate care and empowering them through education.” 

In her free time, Jessica enjoys hiking, strength training, photography, pottery, and spending time with her dog, Koda.
