What is Dean of Students On Call?

A member of the Dean of Students Office is "on-call" five days a week, from 8am to 5pm, Monday-Friday, which means they are available to take walk in appointments, provide support, and meet with MSU students, faculty, and parents. This program is designed so that our students don't have to wait weeks or even days to meet with our office. If they have an issue arise, our on-call program allows them to meet with a DOS staff member either same- or next-day.

Who can use On Call appointments?

The short answer is anyone! On call is designed to provide support to the entire MSU community, including staff members, instructors, faculty, and parents. Whether you are a student facing extenuating circumstances, a parent concerned about your student, or an instructor seeking extra support managing a student situation, our on-call appointments are open to all MSU community members.

How do I schedule an On Call appointment?

All on-call scheduling is handled over the phone. Please call our office at (406) 994-2826 to schedule an appointment.
