Information on Prizes

We are excited to have you as a conference participant!  To be eligible for prize drawings, you need to complete this very short questionnaire.  Your name for the drawings and your answers to the questions are anonymous and will be recorded separately.  We are asking these questions to learn about you and your school.  You do not need to answer any questions you do not want to but to be eligible for the prizes you must answer all questions.

Funding for this conference comes from the US Department of Education: Office of English Language Acquisition.

Questions about this questionnaire are welcome!  If you have questions, please contact Dr. Jioanna Carjuzaa carjuzaa@montana.edu;  (406) 994-4941.  If you have additional questions about the rights of human subjects you can contact the Chair of the Institutional Review Board, Dr. Mark Quinn, (406) 994-4707 mquinn@montana.edu

Information on Renewal Units

As a participant in the MontTELLs 2021 Inaugural Virtual Professional Development Conference you can earn 9 OPI renewal units by completing and submitting the reflection questions immediately following each session.  The part of the questionnaire where we collect your name for renewal credits, is not connected to your reflection question answers.  Your answers are strictly anonymous.  We are interested in learning about your understanding of student persistence and the Family Education Model, the intersection of IEFA and sheltered instruction and how ELLs are identified at the federal, state and district levels.

While you may choose to not answer any survey question you do not want to answer but to earn the renewal units you must complete each question. Following each session, 15 minutes will be provided for you to complete the reflection questions.

Funding for this conference comes from the US Department of Education: Office of English Language Acquisition.

Questions about these reflection questions are welcome!  Please contact Dr. Jioanna Carjuzaa carjuzaa@montana.edu; (406) 994-4941 if you have any questions.  If you have additional questions about the rights of human subjects you can contact the Chair of the Institutional Review Board, Dr. Mark Quinn  (406) 994 4707 mquinn@montana.edu
