Onsite Visits
Call the office at (406) 454-6980 to scheudle an onsite visit at your property. Onsite visits include field, yard, garden, shelterbelt, etc. to help diagnosis diseases, plan shelterbelts, scout fields, and assist in other matters.
Nitrate Testing
Nitrate strip tests are conducted at the office before the crop is harvested. Please bring in multiple samples across the field and bring in the whole plant. Testing takes one to two hours.
Hay Probe
A hay probe is available to producers to borrow to test hay bales for nitrates, crude protein, TDN, crude fat, etc.
Feed Rations
Feed rations can be calculated so livestock feeding programs can be develope to insure healthy livestock.
Shelterbelt Consults
An average of 10,000 trees and shrub are planted in Cascade County annually. Schedule to have a consultation on your property to plan your shelterbelt to save heating and cooling costs, decrease wind erosion, defer snow, and create wildlife ecosystems.
