The Graduate Return to Learnm Scholarship is a $500/semester award for up to one semester designed to support graduate students who are returning to their academic journey after stepping away for a year or more. This scholarship aims to assist individuals who have taken time away from classes and school for various reasons, providing them with the financial support as they re-embark on their educational pursuits.

Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible for the RTL Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Previous Registration: Applicants must have last registered for classes a year or longer ago. Students taking classes regularly (e.g., semester-on, semester-off) are not eligible.
  • Degree-Seeking Program: Applicants must have been enrolled in a degree-seeking program at the graduate level, either in a master's or doctoral program. Certificate and non-degree students are not eligible.
  • Progress Toward Completion: To ensure a meaningful impact and to align with the university's commitment to academic achievement, applicants must have completed at least two-thirds (2/3) of the required credits for their chosen program.

The Graduate School will work with the applicant’s department to ensure that they will be fully prepared to return to coursework. Please click this link and sign into Cat Scholarships to apply.
