Kelly directs photography and video for MSU and coordinates visual content with external partners and media. He earned his bachelor's degree in photography from MSU in 1995 studying under Rudi Dietrich. 

In a career spanning over 30-years, Kelly has been a staff photographer for newspapers in Montana and Nevada, was a corporate photographer in Seattle and a stringer for Associated Press. He has contributed content to notable media outlets such as the New York Times, Washington Post, National Geographic publications, Sports Illustrated, CBS News and PBS.

Kelly's 2009 project, The Stones Have Memories, documenting relics of the Cold War in Berlin, exhibited throughout the United States and Germany and is now in the permanent collection of the Cold War Museum in Virginia.

Kelly recently premiered a feature documentary film with Montana PBS titled Mavericks telling the story of Montana's freestyle skiing heritage and Olympic legacy. Mavericks was honored with the E.B. Craney award from the MT Broadcasters Association, honors from the NPPA Best of Journalism, Best Feature Documentary from the Flathead Intl. Film Festival, five Emmy nominations and the Emmy award for editing.

As a champion for visual storytelling and the photo industry, Kelly is a board member of the Seattle/NW chapter of the American Society of Media photographers and a long-time member of the National Press Photographers Association. Kelly is an alumnus of the Kalish Workshop for Visual Storytelling and also regularly lectures on various photography topics for universities and workshops.

Colter is an internationally published visual journalist with work appearing in Time Magazine, The New York Times, Washington Post, and the Independent UK. Colter was born and raised in Bozeman, Mont. where he received a degree in Film and Photography from Montana State University (2018). Most recently he was a staff photographer for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, covering news, sports and feature stories. Colter has covered everything from the Stanley Cup Finals, a worldwide pandemic, social justice protests, and riots but the stories that most resonate with him are the ones involving individuals and their impact on the community that they live in.

Doc Cravens studied photography at the MSU School of Film and Photography after serving as a U.S. Navy Corpsman in Iraq and Afghanistan. Doc's photography has taken him as far away as Cambodia and he has worked on significant visual projects like American Veteran, the MSU Veterans Arts and History Initiative and with the Warriors and Quiet Waters Foundation. Doc brings a wealth of photo experience and MSU experience to the team.

Kenzy Platt earned a B.A. in Social Media Design Management from Northern Michigan University and is experienced with video production across multiple industries including higher education. Kenzy documents everything from student life at MSU to feature projects.
