To be considered for a Noyce Master Teaching Fellow (MTF), applicants must complete and submit: 

Eligibility Criteria 

Applicants must meet the following criteria: 

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident alien. 
  • Demonstrate a commitment to teach and serve for five or six years in a high-need local educational agency.  
  • Hold a valid teacher certification or licensure. 
  • Possess a bachelor’s or master's degree in education or a STEM discipline.
  • Intends to enroll in a master's degree program if holding only a bachelor's degree. 
  • Hold at least two years of teaching experience in science or mathematics. 
  • Teach science, mathematics, or both classes in a high-need school district. 

Note. Starting from August 28, this program will only consider certified exemplary STEM teachers who hold a master's degree in STEM or education.
