Greta M. Linse is a third generation Montanan. She graduated from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College in 2002 and earned her M.S. in Mathematics and Statistics from Montana State University (MSU) in 2006 and 2008 respectively. After graduate school Greta worked for a local statistical software company focusing on analysis of genetic data. She wore multiple hats including project manager, technical writer, director of customer support and services. Returning in 2016 to MSU, Greta has taught mathematics and statistics classes for the Department of Mathematical Sciences. In 2018 Greta became the Project Manager for the Human Ecology Learning and Problem Solving (HELPS) Lab. In 2024 the HELPS Lab rebranded as Social Data Collection & Analysis Services and Greta became the Facility Manager. Greta joined the Statistical Consulting and Research Services (SCRS) in January 2020 as the Assistant Director and served as the Interim director from July 2022 – June 2024. In July 2024, Greta became the Coordinator of Statistical Resources for the Department of Mathematical Sciences.
